ResFree R-30A

Not every patient's therapy needs fit inside a standard pressure range. The ResFree R-30A gives SleepCheck's BiPAP patients a wider window to work with, in the same low maintenance, dependable design patients have come to expect from our range.

What the R-30A Does

The R-30A is an auto-adjusting device that extends across a 4 to 30cmH2O pressure range, noticeably wider than SleepCheck's standard APAP offering. It supports CPAP, APAP and iAPAP modes for patients who need traditional pressure therapy, alongside S and AutoB modes that bring in bilevel, dual pressure support for patients whose treatment calls for it.

That combination makes the R-30A a flexible option for clinicians managing patients who sit slightly outside the standard treatment range, without needing to move straight to a more complex device.

Reliable, Straightforward Therapy

The R-30A is built as a standalone device, without WiFi connectivity. It focuses on delivering steady, dependable therapy night after night, and any adjustments or reviews of a patient's treatment happen through SleepCheck's usual in-person consultations. For patients who prefer a simpler device without a connected component, that straightforward approach can be part of the appeal.

Designed to Fit Into Daily Life

The R-30A shares the same compact footprint as the rest of the ResFree range, measuring 243mm by 181mm by 110mm and weighing 1.37kg, so it fits easily on a bedside table or in a travel bag. It runs at 26dBA or lower, keeping noise low enough to avoid disturbing sleep. An adjustable humidifier, offering levels from 0 to 5, helps prevent the dryness that can otherwise make therapy uncomfortable, and a ramp setting of up to 60 minutes allows pressure to build gradually as a patient settles into sleep.

Automatic leak compensation and automatic altitude adjustment help keep therapy stable even if a mask shifts overnight or a patient travels somewhere at a different elevation, and an auto on and off function means the device starts and stops in time with a patient's breathing rather than needing a manual switch each night.

Who the R-30A Is For

The R-30A suits patients whose treatment needs extend beyond a standard APAP range, including those who may benefit from the added flexibility of S and AutoB modes. It is a good fit for patients already working with a SleepCheck clinician on a bilevel therapy plan, and for those who prefer a dependable, standalone device.
